Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México (UIA) is hosting the conference of 2010.
The University is located in Santa Fe Area (west of Mexico City), with over 11,000 students including around 800 graduate students. There are approximately 2,000 faculty members which ensure that students benefit from personal attention in the 36 undergraduate programs and 31 graduate programs. The language of instruction is Spanish.
86 researchers are registered in the National Researchers System and 10 graduate programs were awarded as Quality Programs by the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONACYT), the main governmental office in charge to promote science and technology in Mexico.
The Francisco Xavier Clavigero Library is an integral part of campus life. The library contains over 300,000 volumes, a rare and antique book collection, and subscribes to 1,500 journal, magazine, and newspaper publications. The library holds Porfirio Diaz’s personal correspondence which is used regularly by both national and international researchers.
The Universidad Iberoamericana has architecture, communications, computer, design, engineering, chemistry, nutrition, photography, physics, and psychology laboratories and workshops with state-of-the-art equipment. Other facilities include health services, cafeterias, auditoriums, book store, art supplies store, two banks and recreational areas for sports.
